These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the LogView software and related online services (“Services”), provided by DIESELPOWER s.r.o., registered office Čimická 717/34, Kobylisy, 182 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 27322572, VAT ID (DIČ) CZ27322572, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file C 216502 (“we”, “us”), operating the website logview.net.
By installing, accessing, or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. The Services
LogView is software for recording and analysing automotive logs, offered in tiers (e.g. Registered, Commercial, Professional) with optional online/cloud features. Specific features depend on your license type and whether your support/subscription is active.
2. Accounts
You need an account for certain features. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your credentials and license key confidential. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
3. Licenses, seats and devices
- A license grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use LogView per the purchased tier and number of seats/devices.
- Your license key and device activations are personal to you; sharing them is prohibited.
- We may enforce seat/device limits technically (activation, periodic online checks).
4. Trials
We may offer a free trial. At the end of the trial, unless you purchase, your access reverts to the free tier. Trials are provided “as is” with no guarantee of continued availability.
5. Purchases, billing and renewals
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider acting as our reseller and Merchant of Record (“Payment Provider”). Your purchase is also subject to the Payment Provider’s buyer terms.
- Subscriptions and yearly support renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Prices may change; we will give notice before changes affect a renewal.
- Taxes (VAT etc.) are handled by the Payment Provider as Merchant of Record.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, resell or sublicense (unless authorised as a dealer), circumvent licensing/limits, use the Services unlawfully, or upload content you have no right to share.
7. Your data / community content
If you upload logs or other content to community/cloud features, you grant us a license to host and process it to provide the Services (and, where you opt in, community/marketplace features). See our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
LogView, its software and content are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant no rights other than the limited license above.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. LogView is an analysis tool and must not be relied on as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (incl. mandatory consumer rights).
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, the license ends; some data may be retained or deleted per the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes: courts of the Czech Republic (Prague). EU consumers may also use the ODR platform.
